Workmanship Warranty
People are often unclear about what their rights are when it comes to warranties – particularly for renovations. DwellStone Construction and Property Maintenance are very clear about our warranties and guarantees, and we have you well protected. Our workmanship warranty relates to building, plumbing, plastering, painting and tiling labour work completed by us. This means that we guarantee the work for 1 year from the date of completion. You will also be supplied with certificates where required – electrical, waterproofing and gas-fitting. The workmanship warranty does not cover products as these are covered as below.

Water Proofing Certificate (Producer Statements – PS3)
A PS3 is a document issued by our certified Water Proofer specialist – a council-approved expert registered with Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board. A producer statements (PS3) gives evidence that design or building work complies, or will comply, with the Building Code and helps us make a decision to issue a building consent or a Code Compliance Certificate (CCC).

Gas Fitting Certificate Of Compliance
Gas fitting certificates are a document required under the Gas (Safety and Measurement) Regulations 2010. A gas fitting certificate is the gasfitter’s verification that the gas fitting work is lawful and compliant.

Electrical Certificate of Compliance and Electrical Safety Certificate
Electrical certificates are a document required under the Electrical Workers Registration Board. An electrical certificate is the electrician’s verification that the electrical work is lawful and compliant. The Electrical Workers Registration Board promotes safety for all New Zealanders by ensuring the competence of electrical workers.

Product Warranties
All products supplied by DwellStone Construction and Property Maintenance carry a warranty carried by the supplier. These warranties vary with the products and will be outlined in your personal warranty. It excludes products not supplied by DwellStone Construction and Property Maintenance.

We Carry Public Liability Insurance And Professional Indemnity Insurance
Provides protection from damage to third party property, An example of a claim would be if someone accidentally screws through a pipe, and this results in water damage. This has not happened, but we are prepared. We are insured for up to $5,000,000 for general liability and $1,000,000 for public liability.
